BelEnergy, a distributor of photovoltaic equipment, has added the 655 W bifacial solar panel series from Canadian Solar to its catalog of solutions. According to the companies, the modules have an efficiency of 21,1% and are ideal for commercial, industrial and GC (centralized generation) photovoltaic projects.

“The partnership between BelEnergy and Canadian is part of the Belenus Group’s strategy to offer quality and high-efficiency products. In 2023, we closed a deal for 300 MW that have already started to be added to our portfolio, such as the 655 W bifacial modules, the BiHiKu7, which are ideal for small, medium and large-scale photovoltaic projects,” emphasized Sérgio Lucas Junqueira, CEO of BelEnergy.

“As a company, our strategy is to offer high quality and efficient products to our customers. The partnership with Canadian represents a big step in this direction. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with Canadian and offering the best solutions to our customers”, added Junqueira.

“The partnership with BelEnergy is very strategic for Canadian because BelEnergy currently has one of the best internal distribution infrastructures on the market as it works with a very wide variety of products and a vast inventory with fast availability and delivery. So, it is a partnership that contributes to Canadian's expansion, especially in the distributed generation market. Both for the residential and commercial segments, which have plants from 1 MW to 5 MW, which is a focus for BelEnergy”, highlighted Alexandre Borin, Commercial Director at Canadian Solar.

According to Canadian, the modules feature PERC technology, a 210 mm wafer and have an 8,9% reduction in LCOE due to the higher power output and lower system cost.

Furthermore, the panels are compatible with the main trackers, have a reduction of up to 50% in LID degradation and have better tolerance to shading. For more information visit the Canadian Solar website clicking here.
