A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) authorized, this Thursday (20), the anticipation of the entry into commercial operation of the transmission lines 345 kV Miguel Reale – Sao Caetano do Sul and Sao Caetano do Sul South Circuits 1 and 2.
The infrastructures, located in the state of São Paulo, are operated by the transmission company IE Riacho Grande, holder of Concession Contract No. 05/2021-ANEEL. publication appears in the DOU (Official Gazette of the Union).
According to ANEEL, the anticipation of works will provide systemic benefits, both in normal operating conditions and in possible contingencies, ensuring a better distribution of energy flows.
Initially, the contractual date for completion of the works was scheduled for March 31, 2026. With the Agency's authorization, the lines are now expected to start operating in September 2025, bringing forward the project's delivery by approximately six months.
