AdvanSol has launched Acloud EOS, a digital O&M (operation and maintenance) platform focused on the intelligent management of photovoltaic plants in Brazil.

The tool was developed to address recurring challenges in the sector, such as hidden faults that compromise energy generation, high costs associated with on-site inspections, and low visibility at the module level—factors that directly impact the return on investment of projects.

Digital Twin and real-time monitoring

According to the company, the solution uses the concept of a digital twin, recreating the photovoltaic plant on a 1:1 scale and allowing real-time monitoring of each module.

The system monitors parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, and power, enabling the precise identification of faults, the tracking of historical data 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and the automated analysis of anomalies, including current deviations, thermal variations, and arc flash risks.

Satellite visualization and integrated plant management

The platform also integrates satellite visualization with augmented reality support, allowing the virtual power plant to be superimposed onto the real geographic environment.

According to companhiaThe feature facilitates the management of multiple plants, with global positioning via GIS (Geographic Information System), management of O&M permits in different regions, and execution of alarms, diagnostics, and batch operations, making inspections faster and more efficient.

Advanced data analysis and 3D environment

In the area of data analysis, Acloud EOS presents operational and climate information in a 3D environment, bringing together data on energy generation, equipment status, revenue history, comparative efficiency graphs, module performance indicators, and generation curves.

The plant's lifecycle monitoring is continuous and occurs independently of weather conditions, allowing for an integrated view of historical performance and real-time status.

Artificial intelligence applied to O&M.

The solution also incorporates artificial intelligence features, with automatic fault diagnosis, optimization recommendations, forecasting of energy generation trends, and a virtual assistant for technical support, including guidance on installation manuals and operational content.

Cost reduction and increased operational efficiency

According to AdvanSol, the platform can reduce O&M costs by up to 50% and increase the efficiency of activities by more than 50%, by enabling remote diagnostics, reducing the need for on-site inspections (which can go from monthly to quarterly), and allowing for the intelligent shutdown of faulty modules without impacting other equipment.

“AdvanSol is eager to bring this intelligent O&M solution to the Brazilian market, integrating advanced technology, efficiency, and safety. It allows power plant operators to achieve higher energy yields, lower O&M costs, and more reliable asset protection amidst increasing market competition,” the company highlighted.

Partnerships for modernizing the solar sector

The corporation emphasizes that it intends to work together with EPC companies, investors, and O&M service providers in Brazil to accelerate the modernization of photovoltaic plants in the country.

The proposal aims to promote the adoption of a new operation and maintenance model based on digitalization, automation, module-level monitoring, and advanced data analysis.

Remote operation and rapid emergency response

The platform can be accessed via PC, web, or mobile app, allowing operation and maintenance anytime, anywhere. In emergency situations, such as abnormal module temperatures, the system is capable of remotely reducing voltage and current to safe levels in up to 15 seconds.

The support also offers three automatic shutdown modes, manual emergency stop, and remote control via app, as well as O&M log recording and remote guidance for field installation.
