Auctions
Cemig has already held several auctions, with the participation of projects qualified in competitions promoted by ANEEL, from wind and solar sources, located in different regions of the country.
According to the company, in 2021 two auctions were held by the company for the purchase of incentivized energy, coming from greenfield projects, which attracted the market's attention and received around 10 GW of installed capacity in registered projects.
Over the next four years, the company will allocate resources of around R$5 billion to growth in generation, especially in wind and solar projects, with the aim of adding around 1 GW to its generating complex.
