Conte Group, a Brazilian company with a prominent presence in the solar energy sector, has surpassed the milestone of 3.000 photovoltaic plants delivered and 250 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity since the start of its operations in 2014.
With a business model based on the complete vertical integration of the solar supply chain, the group claims to have achieved significant gains in quality, operational efficiency, and competitiveness.
The company integrates engineering activities, the manufacture of metal structures, the import and distribution of equipment, as well as the operation of its own power plants, acting both as an EPC contractor and as an investor in the electricity sector.
According to CEO Jeferson Ribeiro de Campos, the vertically integrated model has been crucial for standardizing processes, controlling deadlines, and increasing project profitability.
“We carry out all stages of the projects within our ecosystem, which guarantees us total control over quality, costs, and logistics. This is particularly relevant in a sector like energy, where every variable directly impacts the return on investment,” says the executive.
The Conte Group's structure comprises four operational units. Conte Solar focuses on the engineering, design, and execution of power plants aimed at large consumers, such as industries and commercial networks.
Conte Metal is responsible for manufacturing custom-made metal structures, using its own national technology.
Solergy acts as an importer and distributor of photovoltaic equipment, with strategic alliances with manufacturers in Europe and Asia. Finally, Conte is dedicated to managing its own power plants, positioning the group as a self-producer and generator of energy.
This operating model allows the company to maintain its own logistics with national coverage, optimizing deadlines and reducing operational costs. The standardization of processes is also reflected in the scalability of projects and in meeting the complex demands of the corporate sector.
International alliances with manufacturers in Europe and Asia are another significant advantage. According to Campos, this closer relationship with centers of technological innovation allows for early access to new technologies, as well as guaranteeing more competitive commercial conditions and greater technical security.
“Working directly with manufacturers allows us to offer customized solutions, anticipate market trends, and ensure the provenance of the equipment we use,” the CEO emphasizes.
Conte Group's activities have intensified in ACL (Free Contracting Environment) with the structuring of projects focused on self-production of energy, direct consumption at the load (Grid Zero model) and the integration of batteries for storage.
According to Campos, the company was one of the pioneers in implementing systems. GridZero In Brazil, this is especially true for industries and large businesses seeking energy independence and cost predictability.
In addition to its role as a solutions provider, the company has also invested in its own assets. Currently, it manages 26 MW of solar power plants, operating as a source of generation and recurring revenue.

The Frazatto and Levorato projects represented important milestones in this strategy, becoming the first plants built with private capital and of the largest scale up to that point.
These projects required a high degree of complexity in engineering, logistical planning, and electrical integration, functioning as a laboratory for innovation and consolidation of technical know-how.
Conte Group's long-term vision is directly aligned with the ongoing energy transition in the country. The company intends to expand its operations in strategic regions, such as the Midwest and Southeast, as well as intensify partnerships with institutional investors and large consumers interested in migrating to the free market.
Priority areas include the development of self-consumption battery storage systems for ACL customers and the creation of energy efficiency solutions focused on decarbonization.
In just over a decade, the Conte Group It has built a robust portfolio based on technical execution, a vertically integrated business model, and its own investments.
By expanding its presence in different links of the electricity chain, the company consolidates its position as one of the most relevant players in the advancement of corporate solar energy in Brazil.
