The Equatorial Energia Group has opened registration for the 2025 Public Call for Projects, which will allocate more than R$56 million to energy efficiency initiatives in the states of Alagoas, Amapá, Goiás, Maranhão, Pará, Piauí and Rio Grande do Sul.
Interested parties have until October 28th to submit their proposals, which must be submitted exclusively through the official Public Call portal: Equatorial Energia CPP. In the state of Pará, the deadline is different and ends on October 6th.
The selection process is part of the Energy Efficiency Program (PEE) and focuses on supporting projects that promote the rational use of electricity and contribute to sustainable development in the group's concession areas. Public and private institutions from the commercial, service, residential (via Efficient Bonus), public lighting, and rural sectors are eligible to participate.
"We are transforming the way we use electricity, supporting innovative and sustainable practices that promote greater efficiency in consumption. The 2025 Public Call for Projects represents a unique opportunity for companies and institutions to implement initiatives capable of reducing energy use while simultaneously generating positive economic and social impacts in the communities we serve," said Rodrigo Campos, Equatorial Group's PEE and RDI manager.
Technical Workshop
As part of its support efforts for bidders, Equatorial will hold a free technical workshop, both online and in-person (with limited spaces). The event aims to guide participants through the call's specifications, selection criteria, and how the proposal submission platform works.
