Growatt has launched a new line of WIT series hybrid inverters to meet the growing demand for more efficient and sustainable energy solutions.

According to the manufacturer, the new line will follow standards designed for residential, commercial, and industrial users, as well as microgrids.

According to Growatt, the WIT series offers two initial versions for residential consumers and small businesses: the WIT 10–15K-HU (three-phase 380Vac) and WIT 10–15K-HU-L2 (three-phase 220Vac) models.

The manufacturer highlighted that the inverters operate in a way that is compatible with both low-voltage batteries from Growatt as well as solutions from other manufacturers, such as UCB, SEC Power, and Moura.

"The possibility of integration with different battery technologies, such as lithium and lead-acid, also expands the system's versatility," he stated.

These models are designed with a dedicated port for generators, allowing for easy connection to diesel backup systems or photovoltaic inverters in AC (Alternating Current).

The manufacturer ensures a stable power supply, even in locations off the power grid or during grid instability.

The simplified connection via current transformers makes the installation of zero-grid or export control systems faster and more economical, benefiting both installers and end consumers.

Solutions for commercial, industrial and microgrid projects.

To meet the needs of larger projects, the company also launched the WIT 29.9–50K-XHU and WIT 28–55K-HU-US L2 / WIT 50–100K-HU hybrid inverters.

The inverters are compatible with high-voltage batteries, meeting large-scale energy storage needs.

The WIT series has been optimized for high-power photovoltaic modules, supporting string currents up to 20A and offering multiple MPPTs (Maximum Power Point Tracking), which maximizes energy efficiency and system yield.

Advanced protections, such as AFCI (Arc Fault Current Device) and IP66 protection rating, ensure the durability and reliability of inverters, even in the most demanding environments.

According to the company, up to six units can be connected in parallel for AC network applications, and up to three units can be configured for off-grid operation, allowing adaptation to different types of projects.

Integration with diesel generators or additional photovoltaic systems is also facilitated by the GEN port, which ensures a continuous power supply.

"With a high DC/AC ratio of up to 2x, strong charge/discharge capacity, and 150% overload capacity in off-grid mode, WIT inverters easily handle demanding loads, ensuring continuous supply."

Growatt also highlights that the switching time, less than 10 milliseconds, enables rapid transitions during power outages, which contributes to maintaining stability in the electricity supply, especially in applications for businesses and microgrids.
