Lemon Energia is expanding its solar energy subscription offering to the interior of São Paulo, in the region served by CPFL Paulista.
As a result of an agreement signed with Navi Energias Sustentáveis, Lemon is adding three photovoltaic plants to its portfolio with the potential to serve up to 2 thousand companies in the region.
The first plant is ready and has already sold its entire energy supply. The rest will come into operation in the second half of the year and are an opportunity for entrepreneurs to save 10% on their electricity bills.
In practice, what Lemon offers is a kind of “rent” of a piece of a solar energy plant. All cities served by CPFL Paulista can receive the Lemon service.
In the initial phase, however, the idea is to offer the clean energy digital signature first to the cities of Campinas, Ribeirão Preto, Bauru, Piracicaba and Franca (and their surroundings). The municipality of Campinas and its surroundings should account for 60% of Lemon's expansion in the interior of São Paulo.
The company has more than 5 thousand corporate customers, who have already saved R$9,5 million on their electricity bills and avoided the emission of 7,5 thousand tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
