Mirassol Futebol Clube, the sensation of the 2025 Brazilian Championship, is experiencing a historic moment not only on but also off the field.
In addition to its unprecedented campaign that places it among the top four in Serie A — and ever closer to a direct spot in the group stage of the 2026 Libertadores Cup — the club also stands out for its modern and sustainable management, driven by solar energy.
Since February 2021, Mirassol has had the sponsorship and technical support of Ecori Energia Solar. The partnership began during Série D, when Ecori took over the sponsorship after Unimed's departure, accompanying Leão's rise to the elite of national football.
Sustainable CT and savings exceeding R$ 200 per year.
As part of the partnership, the Mirassol Training Center received the installation of photovoltaic panels in 2021, becoming one of the first clubs in Brazil to adopt solar energy in its sports facilities.
In the initial phase, annual savings exceeded R$ 80, and after expansions carried out in 2024, the projection rose to more than R$ 200 per year, a direct result of the expansion of the solar system and the energy efficiency achieved.
"The energy bill dropped so much that Juninho, the director of Mirassol, called to ask if the bill was correct," said Tiago Martins, partner at Ecori.
With the savings provided by the photovoltaic system, Mirassol invested in modern infrastructure and sports technology, including state-of-the-art equipment for physiotherapy, physical conditioning, and sports science.
The installed system also powers fields, locker rooms, administrative areas, kitchen, and air conditioning, helping the club reduce operating costs and allocate more resources to football—from youth teams to the professional team.
