Renova Energia announced, this Thursday (13), the end of its acquisition process. judicial recovery, after almost six years of negotiations with a series of creditors.
The company entered judicial recovery in 2019, seeking to restructure the payment of R$3,1 billion in debts.
The positive outcome was possible after the signing of new agreements with creditors holding secured credits, formalized in October 2024.
The sentence that officially closed the process was handed down on Wednesday (12) by the Court of the 2nd Bankruptcy and Judicial Recoveries Court of the District of São Paulo.
In its decision, the court highlighted that Renova Energia complied with all obligations set out in the recovery plan, successfully implementing the established measures, within the stipulated deadlines, terms and conditions.

For the company, the conclusion of the judicial recovery represents a milestone in its restructuring and transformation, enabling greater financial stability and providing conditions for the company to continue paying the balance of the bankruptcy liabilities and resume its growth plan.
