Ribeiro Solar announces the resumption of its operations after two years under the management of the German multinational group BayWa re Solar Trade.

After reassessing its long-term strategic priorities, BayWa re Solar Trade has made the decision to withdraw from operations in Brazil to focus its efforts on core global markets with greater sustainable growth potential. As part of this transition, the Brazilian operation returns to the company's original founder and former CEO, Liciany Ribeiro.

This change marks a new chapter for both the company and Liciany Ribeiro's professional career. She intends to accelerate strategic projects and strengthen her commercial operations, maintaining her commitment to the three pillars she has always championed: quality equipment, a specialized technical team, and sustainability.

With roots in industrial automation, Ribeiro Solar brings over 50 years of market experience, offering valuable knowledge and flexibility to meet the diverse demands of the Brazilian energy sector, which still faces challenges in energy security, energy quality, and management or optimization of generated energy.

The reality of the sector presents new challenges — and in Brazil, these challenges are even greater due to constant legislative changes, such as NBR 17193/2025 and MP 1304 / 2025 (still in progress).

"Our focus is on storage systems, which have been part of our portfolio since 2023. Over the years of operating in the market, I've learned that trust built through relationships is what generates our credibility. We don't just sell products—we deliver complete energy generation solutions," says Liciany Ribeiro, manager of Ribeiro Solar and coordinator of Absolar PR.

As we begin this new phase, Ribeiro Solar reaffirms its commitment to delivering high-quality energy solutions, promoting innovation, and supporting Brazil's transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
