Executive Robson Meira has joined Eenovance, where he assumes the role of Country Manager in Brazil. This move comes at a time of transformation in the national electricity market, marked by the transition from a model focused solely on photovoltaic generation to hybrid solutions, with the growing prominence of energy storage systems (ESS).
According to him, timing was crucial for the change. “Brazil is experiencing a clear transition from a purely photovoltaic model to hybrid solutions, with storage gaining prominence. Eenovance enters the market with a mature portfolio in ESS, a long-term vision, and solid industrial capacity,” he stated.
For him, there was a convergence between the market conditions, his experience in the sector, and the company's growth plan in the country. Leading the Brazilian operation, Meira will be responsible for structuring and consolidating Eenovance's presence in the national market.
Among the priorities are brand positioning, the development of partnerships and channels, building local support, and adapting solutions to Brazil's technical and regulatory requirements. "We will accelerate projects in key segments such as C&I, BESS, and hybrid applications," he emphasized.
The executive believes that energy storage has ceased to be just a trend and has taken on a central role in the electricity sector.
“Curtailment, grid restrictions, time-of-use tariffs, and the search for greater energy predictability are driving this demand. Brazil has one of the world's greatest potentials for energy storage, both behind-the-meter and in larger-scale applications,” he stated, emphasizing that the country is only at the beginning of a structural cycle for the sector.
Among Eenovance's distinguishing features, Robson points to the integration between inverters, batteries, and energy management systems (EMS), as well as the flexibility and technical robustness of the solutions. "The approach is very pragmatic, focusing on operational efficiency, safety, scalability, and financial return—critical points for Brazilian investors and integrators," he said.
Commenting on his new professional phase, the executive stated that he faces the challenge with responsibility and enthusiasm. “The Brazilian market demands serious solutions, committed partners, and a long-term vision. Eenovance is here to build, not just sell equipment. And I remain motivated to actively contribute to the development of energy storage in Brazil, now under a new platform and with new challenges,” Robson concluded.
