The request must be made at the Environmental Management Secretariat, located at Rua Ângelo Steck, 410 (corner of Rodovia Romildo Prado), in the Vila Nova neighborhood. Opening hours are from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 16pm.
The objective of the project is to encourage sustainable development and protection of the environment and, according to the city hall, as The more measures residential or commercial properties adhere to, the greater the discount granted.
“This is yet another incentive that aims to encourage more people and companies to adopt sustainable measures in their properties. Thus, the whole of society works together for the common good of preserving nature”, comments the mayor of Louveira, Estanislau Steck.
“This is work that generates benefits for everyone. The property owner gets his tax discount at the same time that he and everyone else benefits from the environmental improvements generated, such as better thermal comfort, good quality of the air we breathe, preservation of fauna and essential resources like water”, said the Secretary of Environmental Management, Rose Celidonio.
Check the documents required to acquire the discount:
- Application;
- IPTU mirror;
- Occupancy permit or equivalent document;
- Identity document;
- Property registration or purchase and sale contract;
- Water/sewage bill or document proving the implementation of another technology for treating effluents;
- Location sketch containing aerial image with demarcation of the property;
- Photographic report proving the systems already implemented in the property.

- Solar hydraulic heating system;
- Photovoltaic solar energy system;
- Wind energy system;
- Green roof system;
- Construction system with sustainable material;
- Green sidewalk system with tree space;

- Permeable area system;
- Indoor tree system;
- Other measures that, through technical justification, contribute to environmental improvement and preservation.
“After sending the documents, Louveira City Hall, through the Environmental Management Secretariat, carries out the technical analysis to verify the implementation of the respective indicated systems,” said the city hall in a statement.
