Photovoltaic equipment manufacturer VaySunic New Energy has announced Rafael Xavier as the company's new country manager in Brazil.
The executive will be responsible for leading the brand's expansion in the country, strengthening relationships with distributors, integrators, and strategic partners in the photovoltaic sector.
In an interview with Canal Solar, Xavier detailed VaySunic's plans for the Brazilian market, commented on the company's strategy in the country, and analyzed the current state of the national solar sector.
Check out the main excerpts from the conversation:

What are your expectations upon your arrival, and how do you intend to act?
We have high expectations for the Brazilian market. For several years, the whole world has had its eyes on Brazil, and VaySunic is no exception.
Today we have a solid presence in the European market, which is our main focus, offering a complete ecosystem for the residential segment: micro inverters, batteries and vehicle chargers.
VaySunic's key differentiator is that all hardware, software, and cloud communication development is done in-house, combined with our own manufacturing facility and a focus on local support and service.
This gives us complete control over the technology, speed of development and production, as well as a high level of customization to meet the needs of different markets and partners.
My role will be heavily focused on building long-term relationships with distributors, integrators, and strategic partners, demonstrating that VaySunic aims not only to supply equipment but to deliver a complete technological solution with support, intelligence, and continuous product evolution.
Finally, we want to provide energy solutions that work in an integrated and intelligent way for those who want to invest now in new technologies or upgrade their current project through our retrofit options.
What is VaySunic New Energy's current strategy in Brazil?
Our strategy is to enter the Brazilian market positioning VaySunic as a technology company. More than focusing on isolated products, we want to bring an ecosystem of intelligent solutions that interact with each other and also with the equipment our customers already own.
We know we're still a new name in Brazil, so we want to build this space by showcasing innovation, reliability, and flexibility to our partners.
The first product we are bringing is the 2250W microinverter, already developed according to Brazilian market standards. Our advantage also lies in the ease of installation and operation.
The microinverter is plug & play and has an extremely fast commissioning process, reducing construction time and increasing the productivity of installation teams. Furthermore, our management and monitoring application was developed to offer an intuitive experience for both the integrator and the end customer.
We strongly believe in this segment, which has been growing consistently and has an audience that seeks not only price, but also efficiency, safety, and ease of use.
We are also bringing our vehicle chargers, taking advantage of the excellent moment for electric mobility in Brazil. They follow the same technological approach as microinverters, with a high degree of customization and intelligent functions to optimize charging and energy use.
Our chargers feature advanced energy management capabilities, allowing you to optimize vehicle charging according to your household's energy consumption and available energy use. The goal is not just to charge the car, but to integrate electric mobility and energy efficiency within the home.
In the second half of the year, the idea is to expand the ecosystem with the hybrid microinverter and batteries, allowing for the integration of all residential energy management within a single platform. This way, the customer will have a complete solution and will be able to monitor and control all the energy in their home directly from their mobile phone.
How does the company view the Brazilian market and what are its expectations for this year?
The Brazilian market is currently maturing. I've followed the solar sector in Brazil for the last 11 years, and it's truly been a rollercoaster. While the market grew at an accelerated pace, we also faced regulatory changes, price fluctuations, and a lack of technical knowledge at various stages of the supply chain.
Today the scenario is different. The market has raised the technical level significantly, and the end consumer is also more informed. In many cases, they already approach the integrator knowing exactly what they want, opening up space for more technological solutions with higher added value.
The trend is to talk less and less about power output and more and more about generation, efficiency, monitoring, and user experience. The focus needs to be on meeting the customer's real needs, not simply selling equipment.
Our expectation is to grow within a more technical and demanding niche, made up of clients who still value price, but who understand the difference between investing in cutting-edge equipment and a smarter, more personalized energy solution.
Therefore, we are betting on our product ecosystem to help in this market transition towards smarter, more integrated energy. Solar is no longer just a module on the roof and an inverter with a small LED screen.
Today we're talking about intelligent energy management, real-time monitoring, equipment integration, retrofitting, and a user experience at your fingertips. This is the market vision that VaySunic wants to bring to Brazil.
