A ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association) has just name the entrepreneur Lucas Mota, CEO of ME Energia, as the new state coordinator of the entity in Espírito Santo.
The executive takes over with the mission to expand regional collaboration in development of public policies, programs and incentives in the area of solar energy, including synergistic electrical energy storage and green hydrogen technologies.
O coordinator will also aim promote the economic and sustainable growth of the State from the solar fountain expansion in Espírito Santo territory.
According to data from ABSOLAR, Espírito Santo currently has more than 42 thousand operational connections with photovoltaic technology in the segment of GD (distributed generation), spread across all 78 municipalities in the State, that is, 100% of the region.
Since 2012, own generation of solar energy has provided the Espírito Santo the attraction of about BRL 2,6 billion in investments, generating more than 15,7 jobs and collection of more than R$613 million to public coffers.
“With the implementation of good public policies and incentives, Espírito Santo can, in a short time, assume an increasingly greater leadership position in the country, with more job and income generation, attracting private investments and collaboration in the fight against climate change”, said the new coordinator of the ABSOLAR no state.
In all, the ABSOLAR has 12 state representatives in the country, in Acre, Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Pará, Paraná, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo.
