AE Solar adds new series of solar panels to portfolio

Thunder series panels have an efficiency of up to 21.3%
AE Solar adiciona nova série de painéis solares ao portfólio

The solar industry is advancing at a rapid pace. In the first quarter of 2021, the photovoltaic sector generated 500.20 MW of installed power in DG (distributed generation) and around 50,400 photovoltaic systems were installed in Brazil, from residences to businesses.

To keep up with the advancement of the Brazilian market, the German manufacturer AE Solar Tier 1 announced the launch of Thunder, the company's new series of solar panels.

The series has five panels, with respective powers of 380 W, 385 W, 390 W, 395 W and 400 W, in addition to an efficiency of up to 21.3%. The modules are made up of 66 158.75 mm PERC monocrystalline cells and the junction box is IP67; TUV&UL.

For Alexander Maier, founder and CEO of AE Solar, this launch is the result of a lot of work and research. “Regardless of the challenges of 2020, renewable energy appears as a principle of optimism for a better and cleaner future. Over the past year, my international team and I have been working hard, revitalizing our brand and portfolio,” he says.

“AE Solar has focused on its development according to the needs of the market and our customers. In a moment of reflection, the most efficient and stable Thunder panel was developed. We will always dedicate our production and services to the needs of the consumer”, adds Maier.

According to Ramon Nuche, general director of AE Solar in Brazil, Thunder panels come to serve the DG segment in Brazil. “It is a module with a reduced size, with high cell densities that is designed to serve the residential market. A more sophisticated product with connections with less busbar. So, the panels have interconnected cells, in high density, with no spacing between them”, he highlights.

The series has a 30-year performance guarantee and a 12-year product guarantee. Also according to Nuche, the launch is global in more than 90 countries and the product is now available for pre-sale.

“A global launch, it is arriving in more than 90 countries at the same time, it is a product that comes to meet the aesthetic appeal, the architectures, this sophistication that is being needed, is being requested in the global market for these small installations on top of roofs” says Nuche.

Investment in R&D

In addition to the beautiful design of the module, AE Solar highlights that the Thunder line panels bring technological innovations, following market trends.

“It is a module that has been bringing technology, the interconnection between the cells is different, it is not done using a busbar, we have a horizontal interconnection, the busbar is at the rear, it will be a vertical busbar to make the connection between these cells”, highlights Nuche

“With this, we increased the energy density in this module, I no longer have that space that is lost between the cells in the traditional connection, this will bring a much more interesting aesthetic appeal, in addition to bringing much greater efficiency, we have more than 21% of efficiency and in a module with 66 cells, it can deliver 400 W of power, it really is a greatly improved product to meet this demand for aesthetics, efficiency and technology”, he adds.

Nuche also highlighted the investment that the manufacturer has been making in R&D (Research and Development). “Investment in R&D does not stop, it always follows the same line, we bring new products and new products, maintaining our German DNA of technology, durability and reliability. So, it is a product that will bring all these benefits, both in terms of aesthetics and energy density, without creating installation difficulties, it can be applied with traditional structures and which will bring ease to the rooftop”, he concludes.

According to AE Solar, orders can now be placed. To do this, simply contact us via email [email protected], it is also possible to speak to AE Solar on the phone (11) 3172 1991 or via WhatsApp (11) 98890 6142.

Eclipse Series

Recently, AE Solar made the Eclipse series available to the photovoltaic market. The panels are entirely black and smooth, aimed at the design and architecture of residential plants. The series has up to 400 W of power and an efficiency of up to 21.3%.
