A manufacturer Afore presented its new generation of single phase hybrid inverter (1 kW to 6 kW) and three-phase hybrid inverter (3 kW to 20 kW) with AFCI (Arc Fault Current Switch – Rapid interruption of the arc fault circuit).

According to the manufacturer, the inverters are compatible with bifacial modules. The display of new products was held during the Intersolar Europe.

According to the company, these inverters were designed to increase energy independence for homeowners. The company also highlighted that the product is the result of 12 years of dedicated experience in R&D (Research and Development). “We are very happy to present innovative and high-quality products for the photovoltaic market”, highlighted the company in a statement.

Features

According to the manufacturer, the advantages of the single-phase hybrid inverter (1 kW – 6 kW for low voltage battery) are as follows:

  • 1,5 Times PV oversize;
  • Up to 2 MPPT channels;
  • Switching time < 10ms;
  • Max.6 parallel stacking;
  • Support for Usage Time Optimization;
  • Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI);
  • Build in Anti -feed- in function;
  • Compact Size and Easy Installation;
  • Intelligent monitoring and remote firmware update.

The three-phase hybrid inverter (3 kW to 20 kW) has the following characteristics:

  • Voltage range from 150V to 800V;
  • 1,5 Times PV Oversize;
  • String current up to 32A;
