Considering the current situation and all the issues generated by the new coronavirus pandemic, Imagem Geosistemas will address “Innovation and Sustainability in Agribusiness” in the next edition of AgriSummit 2021, which will take place tomorrow (25). The theme will bring relevant discussion and sharing of solutions that aim at sustainable practices aligned with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), which are increasingly present in companies.

The themes surrounding sustainability and innovation are directly linked to agribusiness and, through technology, it is possible to change preservation practices in agricultural activities and apply sustainable methods in rural routine.

“Leaders who seek good practices and strategic vision for their business, analysts who care about making more effective decisions on a daily basis and specialists who aim for more sustainable business processes in different aspects are some examples of professionals who will gain a lot by consuming all the content proposed by the event”, says Marlon Suenari, agribusiness specialist at Imagem.

The purpose of the event is to offer content free of charge and online, with the presence of ten speakers who will give eight presentations, bringing the most recent and effective solutions to problems and also presenting success stories. Among the participants is Esri's Natural Resources leader, Adam Pittman, who will bring the company's vision of the future and show the importance of the Brazilian agro market, one of the most profitable sectors in the country.

The fourth edition of AgriSummit will also address topics such as: new features on the ArcGIS platform for Agribusiness; Sustainability in Agribusiness in Bahia with the Association of Farmers and Irrigators of Bahia (AIBA); ArcGIS Field Maps for field work; Forest restoration with Suzano; Use of the Scan website in practice; Sustainable expansion; Infestation management and pest control, and the success story with ECTP. Furthermore, the event will showcase news, developments, technological trends and solutions applied to the grain, trading, forestry and sugar-energy markets.

“Take advantage of the know-how and knowledge of the speakers, the opportunity to network and benchmark with other companies, have access to successful cases of using GIS technology and solutions applied in contexts that can help with new applications within your business and Knowing ways to speed up the work of data collection using Drones or MobileApps are some of the reasons to participate in AgriSummit”, concludes Marlon.
