The solar energy segment is growing exponentially in Brazil and has been one of the main catalysts in the country's economic recovery. Today, more than 90% of the country's cities have at least one home producing electricity from sunlight, according to data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).
According to the Agency, there are more than 577 thousand consumer units receiving energy credits generated in more than 457 thousand systems connected to the grid. Amid this expansion of the solar source in the country, the demand for photovoltaic kits grows exponentially. Aldo Solar, for example, reached the mark of 135 thousand solar generators sold, with a 30% share of the Brazilian photovoltaic market.

“Reaching the mark of 135 thousand generators sold is a reason for great joy, as the photovoltaic solar energy sector is one of the main catalysts for the recovery of the economy”, highlights Aldo Pereira Teixeira, founder and president of Aldo Solar.
“We would like to thank the entire community of resellers and installers who support us. And, of course, to consumers who believe in sustainability and the possibility of generating their own energy”, adds Aldo.

Last year, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the company presented impressive results, with 21% growth and a 25% increase in sales of photovoltaic generators. As a result, in 2020 alone, 52.199 solar energy generators were sold.
For this year, Teixeira estimates more than R$4,5 billion in private investments distributed among its 13 thousand resellers spread throughout Brazil. “The growth and recognition of the market only corroborates our mission to support solar energy in the country”, concludes the executive.
