On June 27th, the ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) will hold the Seminar “Energy Storage Systems – Closing of Strategic Call No. 21/2016”. 

the event will happen 9h of the 18h and will be broadcast live on Agency channel on YouTube. For more information about the schedule, click here. Interested parties can make the registration here.

A Strategic Call nº 21/2016, which allocated approximately R$300 million to promote the implementation of energy storage systems in the Brazilian electricity sector, ends with a positive balance: 20 projects were completed, 11 patents for new products were obtained, in addition to several innovative solutions developed to face challenges of the sector.

According to ANEEL, the seminar aims to encourage debate and the exchange of experiences on the results of the projects, bringing together regulated companies and other actors in the innovation ecosystem of the electricity sector. 

The event's agenda includes lectures, discussion panels and presentations of the main advances and challenges faced during the execution of the projects.
