During the event, HDT LATAM participated for the first time, focusing on presenting energy alternatives for the sector. At booth P-40, the company held lectures in partnership with Huawei, highlighting applications of photovoltaic systems combined with energy storage (PV+BESS).
According to the company, the solutions presented have the potential to reduce operating costs, increase energy efficiency, and significantly decrease diesel consumption in aquaculture operations.
In a statement, HDT highlighted its strategic positioning during the trade fair:
“Aquasur is the most important aquaculture event in the Southern Hemisphere, and this year, we at HDT decided to participate for the first time. We arrived with a clear objective: to offer large companies in the sector innovative alternatives so they can reduce their electricity consumption by up to 85%. From our booth P40, we had the privilege of welcoming representatives from companies across Chile seeking to make the leap towards renewable energy. It was an excellent space to connect, network, and open doors to new business alliances. This is just the beginning of our journey driving energy efficiency in the aquaculture industry!”
According to Felipe Cea, commercial director of HDT LATAM, participation exceeded the company's expectations and revealed business opportunities in the sector.
“This trade fair exceeded our expectations. We see great potential for developing business by understanding key pain points in the sector, such as the high cost of energy. As HDT, we can offer a solution that generates savings in production processes by shifting the use of diesel as much as possible, also contributing to the development of renewable energies.”
The fair also served as a platform for networking and developing business partnerships, bringing together representatives from different companies in the Chilean aquaculture sector. The adoption of renewable technologies, especially with integrated storage, has been advancing in the industry, driven by the search for greater energy efficiency and reduced operating costs.
