Another reason for pride for Brazilians. In addition to being one of the countries that use the most renewable energy in the world, we will now host the largest solar plant in Latin America. This has everything to do with Brazil, as we are one of the countries with the highest solar incidence rates in the world.
The largest solar plant in Latin America, with a power of almost 476 MW (megawatts), will be built by the company ENEL Green Power, of Italian origin, belonging to the ENEL group, based in Rome. The gigantic solar project will be carried out in Piauí, with an investment of around R$ 1 billion.
