The initiative promoted, for 12 entrepreneurs in the solar market, the experience of visiting the three days of Intersolar Europe, the first 1 MW rooftop solar plant in the world, in addition to the opportunity for local technical visits related to renewable energy.

The experience also included a talk with the Brazilian engineer Leandro Copetti Walter, leader of projects at RWE, who commented on the technical and commercial differences in the solar energy sector between Germany and Brazil.

Finally, the businesspeople had the opportunity to carry out a technical visit in Wildpoldsried, a municipality in the region of Oberallgäu, in Germany. The city is recognized for being an example of 100% renewable energy, including solar, wind, hydroelectric and biomass.

For Paulo Pessuti, responsible by Performa Solar Experience Germany, the experiences and the exchange of knowledge were unique and will further boost the development of the solar energy sector in the country.

“Performa Solar Experience Germany offered Brazilian businesspeople a week full of experiences. They had the opportunity to expand their knowledge, witness innovations up close and establish international contacts”, comments Pessuti.

Jean Diniz, Co-founder of SolarView, comments that the experience offered many contacts, mainly with manufacturers, which helped to strengthen partnerships for monitoring integrations.

“We had the opportunity to learn about innovations that will arrive in Brazil and we saw that we can contribute to being a channel for disseminating and disseminating these innovations as soon as they arrive in Brazil”, he added.

Diniz also highlights that the experience brought the idea of doing the basics well. “We notice that German companies have a habit of doing the basics well to generate less maintenance and to maintain long-term operation. It’s something we noticed as we got to know the German market better and we will definitely bring this experience here.”

“The Brazilian market is just beginning, there are many evolutions to happen from a technological, process and service point of view. This service offering will certainly expand, being able to observe the mature market such as the German one”, added Diniz.

Caio Lucena, Director of Projects and Marketing at Plug Solar Energia, talks about Performa as an incredible experience that brought some facilities. “I managed some very important meetings and the visit to the first MV plant in the world was really worth it”, comments Lucena

“Going to Intersolar in Munich gives another insight into how strong our industry is. And recharge our energy. The sector here in Brazil is still a baby, there is still a lot of market to explore”, he adds.

Solar Performa is a company specialized in workshops focused on technical, commercial and management content. And it aims to bring knowledge and information from manufacturers and distributors directly to local integrators.
