Jinko's monocrystalline N-type cell achieves 26,4% conversion

Result was independently confirmed by the National Institute of Metrology of China

Jinko's 12-12-22-channel-solar-N-type monocrystalline silicon cell achieves 26,4% conversion

A Jinko Solar announced, this Monday (12), that it had achieved a major technical advance for its N-type monocrystalline silicon solar cell 182 mm high efficiency.

The company obtained a maximum solar conversion efficiency of 26,4%, breaking the previous record of 26,1% set in October. This result was independently confirmed by National Institute of Metrology of China.

Renewables supply more than 50% of Jinko Solar's factories

“We have built a globally competitive R&D team focused on advancing photovoltaic technology innovation and developing reliable implementation solutions,” highlighted Jin Hao, CTO of Jinko.

“We are proud to have achieved another major breakthrough in the conversion efficiency of N-type TOPCon cells after just two months, once again establishing an important milestone in our N-type technology innovation efforts. yet another basis for our large-scale mass production”, he highlighted.

“Based on our clear roadmap for further efficiency improvements and cost reductions, we are confident that we will continue to provide increasingly efficient and reliable products and cost-effective services to our customers, and we remain dedicated to leading the industry to achieve the goal of transition to clean energy,” concluded Hao.
