Currently, according to data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), Brazil has approximately 815 thousand DG (distributed generation) photovoltaic systems – spread across around 5.5 thousand municipalities.

Furthermore, projections by ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association) indicate that the country should end 2022 with almost 25 GW of installed solar capacity.

Amidst this scenario of exponential growth in photovoltaic projects, one point that stands out is when we add panels and their fixing structures. There is even equipment that can optimize assembly speed.

As is the case with PowAR Cinch™ from ARaymond. “Developed for fixed ground structures and trackers, they are validated and accredited by laboratories after carrying out tests with the largest module manufacturers, thus making these solutions unique and exclusive in the solar market”, said Rafael Avila, account manager for the solar segment. Energy from ARaymond Brasil.

“They are anti-theft, fixing and grounding in just one click. On average, it takes just 30 seconds to install a module with three people, making it possible to install 1 MWp in four days with three people”, he highlighted.

Avila also emphasized that the product does not require the use of special tools such as an electric screwdriver, torque wrench and only a hammer is needed to fix the plates.

“It also eliminates the need for periodic torque maintenance every six months or one year (frequency defined according to the project). In short, after fixing the modules with ARaymond solutions, no type of maintenance is necessary throughout the useful life of the installation”, he highlighted.

And finally, and one of the most interesting, according to him, is that PowAR Cinch™ allows the panels to be fixed from the bottom, eliminating the need for ladders, scaffolding and for installers to walk over the modules, thus causing damage. irreparable.

PowAR Snap®

Another product that can increase the assembly speed of photovoltaic systems is PowAR Snap ® S+, developed for rooftop solutions. It has the same advantages as the PowAR Cinch™, but has the difference of being fixed from above.

RayVolt®

According to the specialist, for effective grounding, ARaymond developed the RayVolt ®, a grounder that has the same logic as the fasteners (no need to drill holes in the module profile or structures) and is fixed in the corner of the profiles using a hammer. “When inserted, it breaks the cable insulation, eliminating the need for knives and the like.”

“We also have a range of different managers for one cable or more. They allow organized management in different directions and organize the cables on the profile of the panels – thus allowing better organization, saving cables and do not cause shadows on the cells in bifacial modules, guaranteeing the capture of 100% of energy from the boards”, concluded.

About ARaymond

ARaymond closed 2021 with around 10 GW installed around the world, with 70% in ground plant solutions and around 30% in rooftop solutions. This is because there are many more rooftop projects (on a smaller scale) and fewer ground projects (but much larger projects) that end up using this solution more.
