Copel is carrying out this Sunday (26) the construction of a new distribution network that will enable the energization of the “Caximba Solar Pyramid”, a project by the Municipality of Curitiba that is being built on the old landfill.
According to the city hall, the photovoltaic project has around 8,600 solar panels and, when ready, you will have installed capacity of 4.55 MW.
The new plant will inject the energy generated into Copel's network and the plant is expected to start generating energy in March, during the celebrations of Curitiba's 330th anniversary.
The work is being carried out by Photovoltaic Bonö, an engineering company specialized in photovoltaic solar energy generation systems, with emphasis on the B2B market.
