Cresce o número de sistemas fotovoltaicos vendidos no Brasil
The average number of photovoltaic systems rose from 3.2 in 2018 to 6.4 sales per month in 2019

According to a survey carried out by Greener, a research and consultancy company specializing in the solar energy sector, the average number of photovoltaic systems sold increased, from 3.2 in 2018 to 6.4 sales per month, in 2019.

“One of the reasons for this growth was the entry of more integrators into the market”, says Márcio Takata, director of Greener. Helte, an industry and trade company specializing in photovoltaic generator kits in Brazil, is one of the companies that has recorded an increase in sales in recent years.

“We present this growth largely due to the good experience that the customer has with the delivery time. We have a volume of 40, 50 customers who buy our kit per month. Helte dispatches the kits within five working days in the South and Southeast regions. This helps the integrator when selling the installation, as they know that we deliver on time”, commented Júnior Helte, director of Helte.

Other data

The study also pointed out that the perception of high costs for the photovoltaic system combined with high competition were highlighted as challenges. Subsequently, fears regarding regulatory changes were the factors that most hindered sales.

Energy savings continue to be the main motivation for investing in a photovoltaic system. Therefore, the research shows that it is essential to know how to evaluate which types of customers have a better return on investment by obtaining a photovoltaic system.
