“We see here at Ecori, with the solutions from APsystems, SolarEdge and several other players, this becoming a reality, a reference so that we can provide customers with the possibility of acquiring more autonomy and being less susceptible to those rules which may or may not be changed by the distributor. So, this is a trend that we will see from now on”, estimated Matias.
DG Market
The expert also commented on his expectations regarding the DG (distributed generation) segment, which, in his view, will continue to expand. “We have signals collected from more mature markets, or in a global context that we see with module manufacturers, in the European, American and Brazilian markets – making credit available again”.
“This means that we have certainty for 2024 of a sector growing, but in a stable manner. I believe we will not see that exponential growth. But, within this context, we have to understand how to generate attractiveness for customers”, he concluded.
Product portfolio
Mariani Pereira, national manager da APsystems, also during an interview with Canal Solar, discussed the company's portfolio of microinverters, which are distributed by Ecori.
“There is a Fire Department regulation that requires the issue of safety, rapid shutdown, and microinverters already operate and work with this security. So, the microinverter makes more and more sense for the Brazilian market, precisely to meet these criteria, which are extremely important, non-negotiable premises and which we have always valued”, he highlighted.
“Today, in our portfolio, we have microinverters ranging from the single-phase 127 V, the DS3-LV, to serve those projects where the customer does not want to change the input standard, to the three-phase 220 V, serving the Minas Gerais region”, exemplified Mariani.
Thinking about bringing more autonomy to customers, she stated that the company is bringing the APstorage, which is a storage solution that allows you to have control, autonomy to manage energy consumption and interaction with the network.
“We were able to make this solution compatible with any topology. And, even if you don't have a photovoltaic system and want to have this autonomy, the APstorage it can also be applied to the project, because it does not depend on the solar plant”, he concluded.
