ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved, this Tuesday (23), the notice for the 2021 Auction for Supply to Isolated Systems. The event is scheduled to take place on April 30th via the internet.
Five lots of solutions for supplying electricity to consumers in locations not yet connected to the SIN (National Interconnected System) will be tendered.
The notice includes 23 locations in 22 municipalities in five states: Acre (3), Amazonas (5), Pará (10), Rondônia (2) and Roraima (3). In total, the power required by the projects is 97,278 MW.
According to ANEEL, the start of supply for all batches is scheduled for April 1, 2023. The period varies from 28 months to 60 or 180 months, depending on the interconnection forecast and the source.
The agency also pointed out that the longest supply periods were established for locations without interconnection plans: up to five years for renewable sources and up to fifteen years for energy from natural gas. The solutions may also consider the mixed use of sources and technologies, including energy storage, and must serve all locations that make up each lot.
