Solar energy has gained a significant share in the Brazilian energy matrix. The country, in fact, was the 4th country in the world which added the most photovoltaic capacity in 2021, with a new 5.7 GW.

In addition to solar, other technologies also have great market potential in Brazil, such as H2V (green hydrogen).

In this scenario, the The smarter E Europe, Europe's largest platform for the energy sector, will promote, on May 12th, a networking event to discuss new opportunities and showcase the potential of the Brazilian renewable energy market.

The meeting, which will be held at the ICM (International Congress Center Messe München), in Munich, Germany, will be supported by ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association), AHK Rio de Janeiro and NewCharge Energy.

Guests include Rodrigo Sauaia, CEO of ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association), Markus Vlasits, managing director of NewCharge, and Loana von Gaevernitz Lima, deputy director of Market Entry and Business Development at AHK.

Also present will be: Florian Wessendorf, general director of Solar Promotion International, and Gioia Müller-Russo, the company's Project Manager. Participation is free. To sign up, Click here.

About Intersolar Europe

Renewables are becoming an increasingly crucial component of plans to meet climate goals and secure energy supplies. From generation and storage to distribution and use – in the future, the key will be to ensure that individual areas are intelligently connected to each other.

Solar PV is on the rise, and the storage industry, electromobility and charging infrastructure are also following suit. This world of energy and the rules at play in national and international markets will be explained by leading experts at the four conferences taking place at Intersolar Europe.

According to The smarter E Europe, visitors will be able to expand their knowledge on all types of subjects and talk to professionals in the segment. Furthermore, the organization highlighted that the conferences will address the rules of the new energy world, the most important players in the energy sector and the movements being made in international markets.

The four conferences – the Intersolar Europe Conference, the ees Europe Conference, the Power2Drive Europe Conference and the EM-Power Europe Conference – take place on May 10-11, 2022 in Munich.

Among the topics that will be discussed are: decentralization, digitalization, sector coupling, intelligent and integrated energy systems, intelligent charging systems, electric mobility and green hydrogen. The Conference Program is available for consultation here.
