The last and third day of Intersolar South America 2023 was full of news, especially for visitors who did not attend the first and second days of the largest solar energy fair in Latin America.

One of the high points of the event was chat at the booth Canal Solar with the public on the topic of flow reversal in DG systems (distributed generation), with the presence of engineers Geraldo Silveira and Dirceu Ferreira, as well as Bruno Kikumoto, director of Canal Solar.

“It was a very enriching chat, both for us at the table and for the audience who were present at the stand. Canal Solar and also live on live. We talk about the controversial issue of power flow inversion, which has been a reason for rejection of connection quote requests from distributors. We clarify for the public what reverse flow is and provide guidance on how to proceed in cases where this occurs”, said Silveira.

Other highlights

In addition to the chat at the Canal Solar, other novelties caught the attention of the audience present, such as the creation of ABSAE (Brazilian Association of Energy Storage Solutions) with the main objective of accelerating the battery market in Brazil.

The association was founded by the companies: Micropower, Baterias Moura, Newcharge and UCB. The association is structured around three main agendas: dissemination of information about the segment, encouragement of the regulatory framework and encouragement and adoption of public policies.

Another novelty came from the Huawei stand, which presented, through its Huawei Digital Power business unit, its portfolio of digital solutions for the generation, storage and distribution of photovoltaic energy, focused on the intelligent development of a cleaner and more efficient energy matrix. low carbon.

On the same day, the EUPD Research awarded Risen Energy the Top Brand PV 2023 seal for the Brazilian market. The seal, which recognizes Risen as a prominent brand in the photovoltaic modules category, was delivered by Daniel Fuchs, vice-president of EUPD Research, to Bob Hao, head of Global Sales, and Ricardo Marchezini, Country Manager Risen Energy Brazil, both from Risen.

Finally, another highlight came from MTR Solar, which presented at the fair as a photovoltaic module with a steel structure resistant to bad weather and different types of terrain. This is the “TarckerSolar”, a piece of equipment awarded this year by the University of Juiz de Fora (MG),

Another new feature announced by the company was the “Management and Monitoring Platform” for photovoltaic plants, developed by TECSCI, the recently created AI (Artificial Intelligence) division of MTR, focused on automation.

It was an excellent opportunity for Brazil and neighboring countries to learn about the latest in the world of clean and sustainable energy.
We have entered a large funnel and there is no turning back for countries to continue polluting by burning fossil fuels.
