Estoque Fotus opens distribution center in the Northeast
The space has more than 5 thousand square meters and a total of 20 docks

The distributor of photovoltaic equipment announced the opening of a distribution center in the Northeast region of the country. The novelty is part of a series of actions by the company that aim to expand its presence in the Brazilian solar energy market.

The new warehouse is located on Avenida Governador Miguel Arraes, in Cabo de Santo Agostinho (PE), 15 minutes from the Port of Suape. THE space has more than 5 thousand square meters and a total of 20 docks.

Thiago Candeia, Logistics manager at Fotus, emphasizes that the company's biggest objective today is for the order to stay only as long as necessary within the distribution center and that from the moment the order leaves the warehouse the process flows as quickly as possible. .

“The state's choice was to increase our production capacity a little more, in order to also strategically shorten delivery times for the region, providing more security, more accuracy, more physical integrity to the product and delivery. So, this is a time of great care and challenges and we are welcoming good people and a very reinforced team to handle what is to come”, highlights Candeia.

O Logistics manager at Fotus It also highlights that with the new DC, order delivery time and logistics costs will be reduced, in addition to expanding the company's stock and contributing to the creation of jobs in the region.

“To make this happen, we have sought solutions from our partners and, at the same time, we have created a scenario for greater development of the photovoltaic sector in Brazil through expanding Fotus’ presence in the national territory”, he points out.

Candeia also highlights that the implementation of the distribution center contributed to the generation of jobs and income. “The team is made up of good professionals, especially in transport logistics. We chose good people who had much stronger know-how to be able to not only make the region viable, but also actually make the business happen. They are regional people, from the logistics coordinator to the production operator”, comments Candeia.

Still according to him, the company seeks to increase its market share and further retain customers in the Northeast, since the distributor's presence in the region allows for a better relationship and greater experience of the challenges faced by local integrators.

The announcement of the implementation of the distribution center was well received by integrators in the region. Luciano Inácio, from Genesis Solar Soluções, assessed that the arrival of Fotus to the Northeast will help with delivery times.

“We have purchased a lot from Fotus, even though we come from Espírito Santo. We bought it because of the price, which is very competitive, and because of the service, which always assists our demands,” he reports.

According to the integrator, the arrival of the Fotus distribution center in the region makes the market more competitive. “We will have the goods closer and receive them in a much shorter time, which will speed up our installations and improve the service we provide to our customers”, adds Carvalho.
