Rio+Sanitation opens solar energy plants in RJ

the dealership Rio+Sanitation announced that it will begining à Operação a plant solar energy plant, located in the municipality of Seropedica (RJ), in partnership with Athon. And, later this semester, another solar plant will be inaugurated in the city of Porto Royal, in the south of Rio de Janeiro.

The two plants together features 5.500 kW de installed power, with the ability to gerar 13,5 M de kWh No. year.

A energy from the solar plant will be used em units small and low tension such as ETAs (Water Treatment Stations), water and sewage lifts, catchments, stores and administrative headquarters.

A companhia also maintains the contracting of clean and renewable energy in the Free Energy Market to achieve the goal of 100% clean energy consumption by 2025, which will be used to supply medium voltage operational units.

No Mercado Livre of Energy, the Rio+Sanitation have to disposition about 50 M de kWh by year of clean energy source.
