Already in its fourth edition, the Intersolar Summit Nordeste has consolidated itself on the Fortaleza calendar, attracting 100 exhibiting companies in a space of 5.000m² and waiting for more than 5 thousand visitors.

“Representing a fundamental milestone for the energy transition, the solar industry register a vibrant growth, bringing opportunities and challenges to the entire chain”, said Florian Wessendorf, managing director of Solar Promotion International GmbH.

“What better way to explore the possibilities than an event like Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste, which brings together the main representatives of the sector with academics and authorities to debate the future and do business?”, he asked.

Congress

In parallel to the fair, the event's congress will feature the participation of more than 25 renowned speakers and sector experts, expecting around 500 delegates.

Crucial topics will be covered, such as the evolution of distributed generation in the Northeast region, advances in centralized generation, perspectives for the electrical system with a high level of renewable energy, green hydrogen in the Northeast, progress in energy storage and electric mobility.

In addition to the congress, the Intersolar Summit also features mini-courses lasting two hours each so that professionals in the sector can expand their training.

Solar energy and H2V in the Northeast

The Northeast has been standing out in the solar sector, with six of the nine states in the top ten in centralized generation and accounting for 20% of the country's distributed generation capacity.

Ceará, standing out as one of the most promising states, occupies the fourth position in centralized generation and has 833,8 MW of installed capacity in distributed generation.

The state has also demonstrated remarkable potential to lead the way in green hydrogen production, with more than 30 memorandums of understanding signed and companies expected to begin production as early as 2024.
