The module manufacturer JA Solar upgraded the module line Deep Blue 3.0 by including the JAM78D30 family, with 78-cell modules and record generation capacity of 605 Wp and efficiency of 21.6%, for specific use in the DG (distributed generation) segment and large-scale projects.
According to the company, this new model will inherit all the differences and mechanical dimensions of the previous 72-cell model, that is, it will feature PERC cells high efficiency, 182mm PERCIUM+ and Gallium-doped silicon wafers and currents around 13 A.
“The product will have great performance in terms of reliability, efficiency, energy generation and compatibility with all curve A equipment. This will efficiently reduce the LCOE, levelized cost of energy, as well as the BOS by reducing the number of components in a photovoltaic system ,” the company stated.
Also according to the manufacturer, the standard modules with 182 mm cells have clear advantages in their technological maturity, being one of the differences when compared with other high power modules offered by other manufacturers.
