Aiming at the growth of the DG (distributed generation) market in Brazil, the solar panel manufacturer Jinko and the distributor of photovoltaic equipment Aldo Solar reaffirmed the partnership for 2022 with an agreement to distribute approximately four million Tiger Pro series solar panels.

According to Jinko, this amount of photovoltaic modules corresponds to 2 GW of installed power and is the largest agreement focused on DG ever signed by the manufacturer outside of China.

For Kangping Chen, CEO of Jinko, the reaffirmation of the contract with Aldo represents another milestone for the consolidation of the long-term partnership between the companies and reinforces Jinko's exponential growth in Brazil.

“In Aldo Solar we found a loyal partner with the same fundamental values as Jinko, who values solid relationships as much as we do. We want to thank Aldo Solar for their trust in the past and future years and we are sure that the synergy between Jinko and Aldo will lead us to achieve the desired success,” stated Chen.

“After establishing a long-term partnership in 2019, this new distribution contract for 2022 is proof of the values shared between the two companies, leaders in their segments”, highlighted Aldo Teixeira, CEO and founder of Aldo Solar.

According to Teixeira, the company's plans for 2022 are to reach revenues of R$6 billion. “The partnership with Jinko will be fundamental to achieving this goal. More than that, through this partnership we hope to spread solar energy even further and offer surprising conditions of clean and cheaper energy to all Brazilians”, explains Teixeira.

For Alberto Cuter, director of Jinko Solar for Italy and Latin America, the DG market is growing impressively in Brazil. “In this scenario, further solidifying our partnership with Aldo in 2022 is an important step towards changing the country’s energy matrix in favor of solar democracy.”

“We are extremely proud of our position in the Brazilian market and Aldo is part of this achievement. We hope to double business volume in 2022, especially in DG operations. To achieve this goal, we will improve the local team by hiring new employees to offer the best services to our partner”, he added.
