Jinko Solar will officially launch the TIGER NEO 26 module at Intersolar South America, which will take place from August 28th to 3.0th at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo. The product features N-Type TOPCon technology, 66 bifacial cells, dimensions of 2382 x 1134 mm, a nominal power of 670 W, and efficiency of up to 24,8%.

Furthermore, it has a reduction in the temperature coefficient, from -0,29%/°C to -0,26%/°C, enabling better thermal performance and greater generation in hot regions, and better response in low irradiance, with a gain of up to 2,49% in conditions such as early morning and late afternoon, according to IEC 61215-2:2021 standard;

Another difference is the greater bifaciality, with a high index of 80% to 85%, which contributes significantly to the total energy generation, especially in projects with optimized albedo.

"These advances were made possible thanks to the implementation of three technological innovations developed by Jinko Solar. MAX technology consists of a modification to the cell's rear surface, which optimizes the internal structure and improves charge carrier transport, resulting in greater efficiency," said Felipe Leme, the company's Technical Services Manager.

"HCP (Half-Cut Passivation) technology applies a passivation layer to all edges of the cut cell, minimizing recombination losses that occur at the ends, common in half-cut cells. Finally, FP (Fourth-Parting) technology allows the cell to be sectioned into four smaller parts, reducing internal resistance and improving the module's electrical performance," he emphasized.

In addition to the performance gains, he emphasized that the TIGER NEO 3.0 raises the bar for reliability, with degradation of less than 1% in the first year and just 0,35% per year in subsequent years – one of the best rates on the market.

According to Leme, the panels are now available for new orders starting in November of this year, with deliveries scheduled for the first half of 2026.

Importance of Intersolar

An event like Intersolar South America, the most important in the photovoltaic sector in Latin America, is essential for the launch of new products in the region. In the manager's view, it's a strategic opportunity to introduce the TIGER NEO 3.0 module to the market, bringing together the main players in the solar energy chain in one place.

"The fair also allows for in-person meetings with decision-makers and offers the ideal environment to physically demonstrate the product – detailing all the technological advances directly to the technical and commercial audience, strengthening the brand image and accelerating the adoption of new technology," he emphasized.

"At Jinko Solar"Innovation is constant, and we certainly have more news in store for Intersolar South America. To further heighten expectations, it's important to highlight that our innovations go beyond photovoltaic modules. Jinko has been making significant progress in energy storage solutions, which are crucial for the future of distributed and centralized generation," concluded Felipe Leme.
