Installing a photovoltaic system is increasingly becoming an alternative for Brazilians looking for savings and energy efficiency.
A report made by Canal Solar, for example, showed that residential customers reported that they saved up to R$ 40 thousand with clean and sustainable energy.
Now, have you ever imagined having a window in your home that captures solar energy? Or what if highway lights also produced electricity through photovoltaic modules on the pole and stored this energy to power lighting and cameras?
According to L8 Energy, these two options will soon be viable in Brazil. The company announced that it will launch, in GD Sul Forum 2021, the glass and the solar lamp.
“L8 already has a history of bringing innovations in this segment to Brazil. After the tiles, backpacks, solar umbrellas, we now present two new products that only have to add in terms of sustainability”, said Guilherme Nagamine, executive director of L8 Energy. “Imagine the impact that solar glass could have on future buildings? Entire buildings capturing photovoltaic energy through their windows”, he added.
According to the executive, some technologies behind these products have to do with the film thin film, high-power photovoltaic light absorption equipment that has already been applied in these formats. “As it is a virtual event, we will showcase the innovations through videos and photos. We will present details ranging from innovation to modern design. And we believe that the event will provide a very relevant exchange of knowledge as there are so many qualified professionals in the market”, he explained.
