Light launched, this Friday (27), the notice with the procedures related to the 11th Public Call for Energy Efficiency Projects, an initiative of the company within the scope of the Energy Efficiency Program, regulated by ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) and focused on the selection and implementation of innovative projects that promote the reduction of electricity consumption.
According to the company, the call for proposals will include projects in the following categories: public power, commerce and services, and public service, with a total of R$5 million in available resources. The aim of the call is to encourage initiatives that contribute to environmental preservation, promote the rational use of energy, and expand educational actions in favor of energy efficiency.
To participate, proposals must be submitted by Energy Conservation Companies (ESCOS) or engineering companies. Rodrigo Brulher, Energy Efficiency Coordinator at Light, highlighted the importance of the action and the chance to promote new ideas within the sector.
“The concept of energy efficiency includes a set of actions that seek to conserve non-renewable resources and optimize the use of different energy sources, in addition to combating waste. With these premises, we already know that good projects can stand out in this Call. And for Light, the more diverse and innovative the project, the greater its impact and relevance to society,” he said.
Those interested in contributing to initiatives that promote the pillars of the Public Call will be able to register on the website until May 12, 2025 and submit project proposals until May 30, 2025. All details, deadlines and criteria can be found at website of Light and in the CPP management environment.
