Vol.5, N°3 – June/2024

Published:18-06-2024

Dear readers,

It is with great enthusiasm that we present another edition of the Magazine Canal Solar, packed with information and insights into the solar energy market and its innovations.

Our cover this month highlights a topic of growing relevance: “Sodium-ion batteries: a promising alternative for the market”. We explore how these batteries can transform the energy storage market, emerging as an alternative to lithium-ion, nickel-, lead- and cobalt-ion batteries.

According to the Roland Berger consultancy, sodium-ion batteries could represent around 30% of the market by 2040. The late professor Marcelo Villalva had already discussed the diversity of batteries, highlighting the potential of sodium, which is more abundant and cheaper.

We hope this issue inspires and informs you about the innovations and challenges in the solar energy sector. We appreciate your reading and we remain committed to bringing you quality and relevant content.

Good reading!
