Network maintenance will impact three million residents in Rio Grande do Sul

O CEEE Equatorial Energy Group informed that will carry out, throughout this week, a series of network shutdowns in 41 cities in Rio Grande do Sul, impacting just over three million residents.

This represents almost a third of the total of 10.8 million of inhabitants who live in the State, according to data from the last census of the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), published in 2022.  

To the maintenance will be carried out between Monday (16) and Friday (20) and the schedule includes municipalities such as the capital Porto Alegre, Pelotas and Viamão, which together today have almost 2 million residents.

According to the dealership, the goal of the action aims to promote improvements that contribute to increasing the quality of energy supply electrical in these locations.

The distributor emphasizes that consumers from all municipalities were notified in advance so that they could plan for maintenance. “The action was notified through publications in wide-ranging vehicles and on the company’s website.”
