The development of new energy storage technologies should always begin with a simple question: what does the market really need?

At Dyness, we believe that innovation only makes sense when it's connected to the real needs of our customers. It was precisely from this philosophy that the Stack Series was born, a solution created to serve a segment that is growing rapidly worldwide: energy storage for C&I (commercial and industrial) applications.

When the market changed, products also needed to evolve.

For many years, major energy storage projects were concentrated at two extremes: small-scale residential systems and large power plants.

Although the C&I market already existed, most available solutions were based on large cabinets. These units offer several advantages, but often present challenges related to transportation, handling, installation, and future expansion.

As more businesses, farms, shops, and small industries sought storage solutions, the need for a more flexible, modular, and easy-to-install product became evident. It was in this context that Dyness developed the Stack Series.

Simplified installation: Stackable and Plug & Play

The main goal of the Stack Series is to combine high energy capacity with extreme ease of installation. Its modular and stackable design allows the modules to be mounted vertically, without the need for complex cabling between the batteries.

Furthermore, the Plug & Play system significantly reduces installation time and minimizes errors during implementation, allowing integrators and distributors to carry out projects much more efficiently.

The STACK series stands out for having an integrated monitoring system. Completely independent of the inverter, it can monitor data such as voltage and temperature at the cell level to ensure high system performance and durability.

Another important differentiating factor is the integrated monitoring system of the Stack Series. Completely independent of the inverter, it allows real-time monitoring of critical system information, including detailed voltage and temperature data at the cell level.

This architecture provides greater operational visibility, facilitates preventive maintenance, and helps maximize the safety, performance, and lifespan of the storage system over the years.

In commercial and industrial applications, this detailed monitoring capability enables more efficient management of energy assets and reduces the time required for diagnosis and technical support.

Scalability for different applications

Each module has approximately 5 kWh of capacity. A single tower can be configured with up to 15 modules, reaching approximately 76 kWh. For larger applications, it is possible to connect up to 12 towers in parallel, reaching approximately 921 kWh of total capacity.

This level of scalability allows it to serve everything from small commercial applications to large-scale industrial projects, all using the same technological platform.

Maximum flexibility for different spaces.

Not all clients have spaces with sufficient ceiling height for a 15-module tower. Garages, storage areas, technical rooms, and basements often present physical limitations that require more adaptable solutions. With this in mind, Dyness developed an extremely flexible architecture.

A 15-module tower can be divided into two independent columns using a single BDU (Battery Distribution Unit). Configurations such as 10+5, 7+8, or 6+9 modules can be implemented according to the available space, allowing the system to adapt to the environment, and not the other way around.

Safety first

Safety has always been a priority in the development of the Stack Series. Each battery module features an integrated aerosol fire suppression system capable of activating in just 5 seconds after detecting critical conditions.

This approach offers an additional layer of protection for commercial and industrial applications, contributing to the operational reliability of the system.

Intelligent thermal management for longer lifespan.

The Stack Series incorporates a carefully designed internal air circulation system. Thanks to the optimized design of the ventilation channels, the temperature difference between the first and last tower module remains below 3°C, promoting thermal balance and contributing to more stable and healthy operation throughout the system's lifespan.

By possessing a fully intelligent BMS (Battery Management System), it is possible to control the temperature difference between the tower modules and, especially, the cells, keeping it below 3°C, favoring thermal balance and contributing to a more stable and healthy operation throughout the system's lifespan.

Furthermore, the DYNESS platform is capable of monitoring voltage, managing energy, and generating reports for highly accurate analysis.

Power for modern applications

With a charge and discharge rate of 1C, the Stack Series allows for complete charging and discharging in approximately one hour, with the capacity to deliver a discharge current of 125A for 2 minutes.

This feature benefits not only energy backup applications. In markets with dynamic pricing or energy arbitrage strategies, high power output makes it possible to maximize the use of tariff windows and increase the return on investment (ROI).

Democratizing C&I storage

Perhaps one of the biggest advantages of the Stack Series is making commercial and industrial projects more accessible to the market.

Traditionally, many installers worked only in the residential segment due to the complexity of conventional C&I systems.

With a modular, scalable solution that is easy to install, distributors and integrators can expand their product portfolio and enter the commercial and industrial segments much more easily.

This is a clear demonstration of how Dyness's development strategy remains aligned with customer needs and global energy market trends.

A complete family for different needs.

Currently, the Stack Series consists of different versions to meet various application scenarios:

  • Stack100 – IP20 solution for indoor applications;
  • Stack100 Pro – IP65 version for outdoor environments and more demanding conditions;
  • Stack314 – a higher-capacity solution, equipped with 314 Ah cells, developed for larger commercial and industrial projects.

Together, these solutions offer customers the freedom to choose the configuration best suited to each project.

Global success and arrival in the Brazilian market.

The Stack Series has already been successfully implemented in several countries and markets, receiving positive feedback from distributors, installers, and end users. Combining flexibility, security, high efficiency, and ease of installation, the platform has demonstrated its ability to meet the real demands of the modern C&I segment.

In Brazil, this technology is already beginning to transform different realities. One example is the project developed with Apa Pau Brasil, where the Dyness Stack100 solution was implemented to contribute to a safer, more efficient operation, better prepared for the daily energy challenges.

This initiative reinforces how storage systems can go beyond cost optimization, becoming strategic tools to ensure operational continuity and support organizations that generate a positive impact on society.

More than just a technical demonstration, the project highlights the potential of energy storage as an ally in building a more resilient and sustainable future. It proves that smart solutions, when applied to the real needs of users, can generate concrete benefits for both operations and the communities served.
