Massa Group enters the distributed solar generation market

Company will invest R$500 million in solar power plants, totaling 100 MW of power

The Massa Group, television network founded by presenter Ratinho, enters the distributed solar energy market remote in partnership with Nextron.

Focusing on Paraná, the Massa Energy by Nextron is developing a solar plant in Apucarana. Nextron will be responsible for mediating and managing the energy injected into the grid, guaranteeing compensation in the electricity bills of consumers in Paraná, providing a monthly discount of up to 20%.

According to the companies, the objective is to invest around R$500 million in the next 12 months and accumulate approximately 100 MW of installed capacity in the state.

For Ivo Pitanguy, CEO of Nextron, the entry of Grupo Massa represents a significant achievement, as it reinforces the mission of facilitating the population's access to renewable energy.

“The partnership opens up new possibilities for individuals and small businesses in the state, who can now opt for sustainable energy without financial or logistical barriers. We are excited to help this transition occur in an efficient and inclusive way, positively impacting the region’s energy future,” says Pitanguy.

Edson Carneiro, CEO of Grupo Massa, highlights that this business model allows consumers to reduce electricity costs without the need to install solar panels in their homes or businesses.

“By promoting a culture of environmental responsibility, the initiative will also contribute to the formation of a community more engaged in practices that aim to protect our planet for future generations”, concludes the CEO of Grupo Massa.
