Aiming to promote the DG (distributed generation) market and discuss the opportunities and challenges for the segment, the ABGD (Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation) will hold the 8th edition of the CBGD (Brazilian Congress of Distributed Generation) between the 16th and 17th of November, in Belo Horizonte (MG).
The event will be hosted at Expominas BH, located at Avenida Amazonas, 6200, in the Gameleira neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte. Registration to participate in the congress is now open and can be done at official event website.
According to Grupo FRG Mídias & Eventos, the organizing company, as in recent editions, the event has the support of the main associations and entities linked to the distributed generation sector in Brazil.
“Working on involvement and opinion for more than 10 years, the FRG Mídias & Eventos Group has produced more than 100 publications focused on renewable energy, in segments such as: energy storage, biomass, DG, wind and solar. Furthermore, we have contacts with many people who have created and helped write the history of renewable energy in recent years,'' says Tiago Fraga, CEO of Grupo FRG Mídias & Eventos.
Also according to the organization, CBGD 2023 will have many new features this year. Among them, the congress will be divided into three auditoriums, one of them involving distributed generation themes and one focused on renewable hydrogen and energy storage.
Over the two days, more than 80 lectures will be held. In addition, the Renewable Energy Award will be awarded, which will recognize companies, entities and individuals for their brilliant performance in the Brazilian renewable energy market as a whole over the last decade.
“We understand that it is important to celebrate this special moment of renewable energy in Brazil, and there is nothing more fair than bringing together, thanking and honoring those who made a difference at certain moments in the last decade. I know that perhaps someone will be missing, but as far as possible we try to bring in the main people who contributed in some way” concludes Fraga.
