O Canal Solar launched its first photography contest last Wednesday (11) to celebrate World Photography Day, celebrated on August 19, and to encourage the photovoltaic sector. Registration is open until next Wednesday (18). “The objective of this photography contest is to publicize the photovoltaic projects carried out by Brazilian integrators. In addition, it aims to highlight the installations completed according to quality standards”, says Ericka Araújo, journalism director at Canal Solar.
To participate, simply send a horizontal photo related to solar energy (which may contain solar panels, inverters, modules, among others), register and fill out a form. Click here to access the entry form. The competition is supported by connector manufacturer Stäubli. The winner of the competition will receive a Staubli toolkit, as well as a full-page photo of their photo in the 6th issue of the Canal Solar.
The second place winner will receive a tripod for their cell phone and a half-page photo in the same issue of the magazine. And the third place winner will have their photo published on a quarter page in the magazine. “Stäubli is committed to always being by the side of its customers in their developments, our centuries-old roots have grown on this collaborative pillar. This photography contest organized by Canal Solar will greatly enhance the work of photovoltaic system integrators, providing the opportunity to present images of the daily reality of the sector, the scenarios and the environment of our market. Being able to support this unprecedented action is a great satisfaction for us”, highlights Bruno Caumo, Communication and Marketing Coordinator at Stäubli.
