The NGO SER Alzira de Aleluia, located in the community of Vidigal (RJ), received the installation of a photovoltaic solar power plant on June 18. The system is expected to provide savings of R$300 on the electricity bill. The installed plant has a power of 3,65 kWp. In total, nine 405 Wp photovoltaic panels from the Jinko Solar brand and a PHB3000-NS inverter were used.
The project was implemented through a partnership between the FRG Group and PHB Solar, who shared the cost of the system. In addition, PHB SOLAR provided consultancy for the selection of components, Solfortes carried out the installation and approval, and Mirassol Energria Solar supported the work.
PHB's participation in the program was mediated by Solarize Treinamentos, contacted by the FRG group to facilitate the construction of a photovoltaic system in a community in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Initially, the installation was scheduled for March 2020, but had to be postponed to June 2021 due to the pandemic.

The materials for the project were donated by Solarize through a social fund created from PVSol software courses. “The purpose of this initiative is to disseminate solar technology and train residents of this and other communities. It is expected that this pilot project will soon be replicated in other communities,” said Ildo Bet, co-founder of PHB Eletrônica.
