The Chamber of Deputies, as it does with other proposals, opened an online vote on its website to find out the population's opinion on PL 5829 (Bill 5829/19), which aims to create the Legal Framework for GD (distributed generation ) in Brazil.
As of 12pm this Wednesday (21st), just over 3,4 votes had been counted. Of this amount, 58% (1.977) completely agreed with the text. Another 85 people (2%) were also in favor of the proposal, agreeing with the document for the most part.
On the other hand, 38% of voters (1292) were completely against the project, while 2% (70) disagreed with much of the content presented. The number of undecided voters, with just 5 votes, statistically represented around zero percent of the total number of choices.
The bill was scheduled to be voted on last Tuesday (20) in Plenary, but ended up being postponed. The proposal, authored by deputy Silas Câmara (Republicanos-AM) and whose rapporteur is deputy Lafayette Andrada (Republicanos/MG), should now be discussed only after the Tiradentes holiday, celebrated this Wednesday (21).
