A Renovigi Solar Energy attended the 12th edition of the GD Regional Forum (Distributed Generation), in São Paulo (SP). The company emphasized the importance of care and attention in the initial stages of installing photovoltaic solar systems. The GD forum took place between March 8th and 10th and is held annually by FRG Group.

With the participation of authorities, entrepreneurs and experts in the field, the meeting aimed to bring together DG production chain with renewable sources in Southeast Brazil. The event had a hybrid format, with participants interacting in person and online.

During the event, Leonardo Rodrigues, R&D and Technical Assistance manager at Renovigi Energia Solar highlighted the importance of carrying out a technical study of the pre-existing structure in photovoltaic systems, whether on residential roofs or any other type of property that houses companies, industries and units located in rural areas .

For the manager, an analysis of this type is essential to guarantee the success of the project, greater savings and also to reduce the risks of future incidents. “A good installation will ensure a long life of the system and allow for minimal maintenance, in addition to increasing the value of the property”, highlighted Rodrigues.

The Renovigi executive also added that this step is crucial for a quick return on investment, as evaluating the structure and the angle of the plates in relation to receiving sunlight will ensure better use of energy production.

Furthermore, he also mentions that Solar energy projects with photovoltaic systems are designed for periods of 25 to 30 years and after this period, efficiency tends to drop. “The efficiency of the system will degrade more quickly after these years. However, a good installation is what will allow you to reach those 25-30 years and last for that period, or even longer, quite efficiently”, he commented.

Just like a good installation, Rodrigues emphasizes the need to maintain a close relationship with the customer after sales. “It is important to stay up to date in the market. Both in relation to commercial and technical issues, we are working together to provide the best solution for this year for all partners”.

Also according to the executive, the DG Forum achieved its objective by bringing together the production chain of the DG sector with renewable sources in the Southeast in 2022. “The event presented a better vision of the needs and challenges of the sector, both for integrators, distributors, suppliers and the market as a whole”, he said.
