A association received one investment about R$ 940 thousand and the I estimated is that the Holy House save R$ 15 thousand per month in electricity bill.
In total, there were 387 panels installed solar panels on the roof in a area of 1000 m². Per year, O enterprise should to generate 305.42 MWh.
According to Amaro Rodero, provider at Santa Casa, with the installation of the plant, the unit will have a significant reduction in its energy bill, and this savings will be converted into benefits for the institution.
“The amount spent on energy can be applied to other important improvements to our hospital care,” said Rodero.
Furthermore, Santa Casa highlights other benefits that this investment can bring in addition to saving on energy bills.
“By adopting sustainable technologies, the institution reinforces its commitment to environmental and social responsibility,” stated the association.
“In addition to financial savings, the installation of photovoltaic panels contributes to reducing the carbon footprint, promoting greener practices in the healthcare sector”, highlighted Rodrigo Petruz, Maintenance and Infrastructure supervisor at the Hospital.
