After a first day full of news and with a large public presence, Intersolar South America 2023 arrived this Wednesday (30) for its second day of exhibitions.

The team at Canal Solar is present, from the early hours of the morning, on site to show the main technologies on display. Check out some of the highlights from the second day below and also be sure to stay tuned to our social media and YouTube so you don't miss any content.

ARaymond

The company brought energy storage solutions to its stand and sought to strengthen relationships with partners that serve the most diverse segments, from the distributed generation market to centralized generation.

“Large batteries increasingly need cooling and we now have solutions already used in China, which is a leading market in this segment”, commented Alexander Pircher, CEO of the company in Brazil.

Canadian

Canadian presented several launches to the Brazilian market, including photovoltaic modules, inverters for the distributed and centralized generation segments, in addition to its new business unit storage.

The main novelty among the solar module launches were the N-Type and TOPCon photovoltaic cell technologies, which combined are powerful when applied to bifacial modules. The highlighted photovoltaic modules were:

  • TOPBiHiKu6++, a high-power N-Type TopCon bifacial module with powers from 585 W to 610 W and efficiency of up to 22,6%;
  • TOPBiHiKU7, a high-power N-Type TopCon bifacial module focused on utility scales due to bifaciality, high energy generation and 210mm cells, with powers from 675 W to 705 W and efficiency of up to 22,7;
  • TOPHiku6++, a mono N-Type TopCon module, with powers from 590 W to 615 W and efficiency of up to 22,8%;
  • TOPBiHiKu6, a high-power, dual-cell bifacial module with powers from 555 W to 575 W and efficiency of up to 22,3%.

“The two new modules in the ++ series bring the high power of the already known Canadian modules in the 182mm format. These modules are suitable for any scenario and bring high generation in a more versatile format”, highlighted the company.

intelbras

Intelbras presented more than fifteen launches of its solar energy unit, in the on and off grid segments, in addition to its portfolio of chargers for electric vehicles. One of the highlights was the EMST 660B SG photovoltaic module, which is monocrystalline, bifacial and shingled.

Livoltek

Livoltek announced the construction of a national photovoltaic inverter factory at Intersolar. With investments of R$70 million, the factory, scheduled to be opened in Manaus (AM) later this year, will be the production center for a variety of the company's products, which will include single-phase and three-phase inverters, covering up to 25 kW.

This range will cover both traditional and low voltage models, offering flexibility and efficiency in solar energy solutions. The plant has a manufacturing area of 18 thousand square meters and was initially designed to produce up to 1,8 GW in photovoltaic inverters per year, in addition to vehicle chargers and string boxes.

Production capacity can be scaled up to 4 GW, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to promoting the sustainable adoption of solar energy. “Livoltek recognizes that local manufacturing has the potential to minimize the global carbon footprint and the opportunity to take advantage of an almost ready factory to accelerate the start of operations,” said Rui Cheng, CEO of Livoltek Power Brasil.

Solis

The company presented its best offer of the most innovative, cutting-edge products that support the advancement of the solar industry in Brazil. One of the devices launched is the S6-GR1P (2.5-6) KS series, designed for residential photovoltaic installations.

The maximum input current per solar cell string is 16A, compatible with high-efficiency modules and bifacial modules. The protection level is increased to IP66. A variety of intelligent protection functions make home power supply safe and secure.

TSUNESS

Tsun launched its line of microinverters from 300W to 3000W in this year's edition, highlighting its most recent innovation: the Gen3 Plus MS2000. With With a current input of 16A and an output power of 2000W, the technology meets the needs of modern solar panels, setting the stage for optimal power generation.

The ability to connect to up to four panels simultaneously speeds installation, reduces installation costs and enhances the overall solar energy experience, according to the company. Utilizing MPPT technology, the Gen3 Plus MS2000 achieves an astonishing peak efficiency of 96,7%, ensuring homeowners get the most out of their solar installations.

“The photovoltaic market in Brazil has experienced rapid growth due to favorable incentives and policies, resulting in high-growth photovoltaic capacity and strong demand. As the most promising photovoltaic market in Latin America, TSUN has dedicated attention to this market,” said Victor Curi, Latam director at TsunESS.

    For years, I haven't been to INTERSOLAR, a world reference for renewable energy technologies, solar PV, in a Brazil gravitating towards generation, around 32 Gigawatts peak,

    2 Itaipus, and a Little More, and in the Group of the 10 Largest PV Generators in the World.

    However, something of social geometric proportions is seriously out of step with all of this, in a Brazil of 215 million inhabitants, where only 7 to 8 million are given preference in being able to have a PV system on their property!!

    Therefore, this innovation was of no use, or is of no use, where only one “pot”, from 2015 onwards, when the economic viability of solar PV systems began, can enjoy this benefit!!

    Even a Popular Home with at Least a 1 kWp System Has So Far Deigned to Serve the Less Favored Class, 85% of the Population with a Miserable Salary of $1.300,00 per Month.

    Therefore, it is something that only serves the environment, and a privileged section of society,

    and Today, in a segment that is already well-prostituted, where there are more companies selling plants and systems, in a fierce fight to sell a photovoltaic system,
    What Customers To Buy From!!

    A Perverse Social Farce.

    Or the Government Takes Shame on Its Face, Providing Due Access to Systems Below at Least 120 kWp, to the Less Favored, and Without the Crap of Robbery Called Taxation, Otherwise It Closes the Doors, and Hands It Over to a Manager to Actually Reverse This Shameful Bit!!

    Otherwise, there would be no point in coming to Brazil!!
